About Me

Hi there, I'm Alicia - Chef & Culinary Nutritionist. Welcome to Kitchentakeovers! KitchenTakeovers was started in 2015 as a side project to my work as a Nutritionist and Cookery Tutor. Where over the years I have taught hundreds of children and adults practical Cooking and Nutrition skills in Schools, nurseries, community centers and clients own homes. KitchenTakeovers was born out of the desire to offer clients meals designed with their needs in mind by an experienced and professional Culinary nutritionist. The name says what this is, I take over YOUR kitchen for an allocated period of time and bring a bit of the Caribbean flare and flavour to your events. Giving you the space to enjoy your occasion without being stuck in a hot kitchen. Over the years, I have also offered corporate catering for local businesses such as Ben & Jerry's. Operated a food stall with a friend, written recipes for magazines notable 'Cross Grain' and health food manufactures. Catered for small and large birthday and special occasions and sold my own spice mixes. Now, I focus on small and intimate gatherings giving me the opportunity to really get to know my clients and offer them a truly unique experience. Whilst maintaining a dynamic Caribbean cuisine heavily plant based with a nutrition focus. Because I truly believe healthy should also be delicious and wholesome!!
